Deep down you know ALL the effort you’re putting into your videos… and the juice isn’t worth the squeeze!

Here’s some sobering advice…

Hey, my name is Dr. Malik and I’m a YouTuber who’s grown a channel to over 100,000 subscribers and 20 Million views since starting 3 years ago.

When I search in “how to grow a YouTube channel” and watch some tutorials, I see these 3 problems that are widespread and suffocating most YouTubers:

#1: Outright Bad Advice!

Most videos will tell you success on YouTube is about “grinding” long enough until you get a viral video.

Does any of this sound familiar?

❌ “Be consistent with posting valuable content!”

❌ “Ask for viewers to subscribe/like your video”

❌ “Create videos around targeted keywords”

blah blah blah…

That stuff won’t grow your channel.

Here’s why: that’s the old school way of “grinding it out” to get views.

Your success or failure on YouTube starts BEFORE you even hit a record.

Doesn’t matter if your video has the best 4K quality and you spent hours editing it… if it’s on the wrong topic.

Finding hit videos is literally the make or break between a video that gets 100 views and one that gets 100,000+.

In fact, I taught this one strategy to a client who took it and ran with it.

His channel went from failing and a waste of time, to now over 60,000 subscribers and thriving.

When you spend your time focusing on creating 20% of videos that bring in 80% of the views, subscribers, and growth – your channel will skyrocket.

So, to recap point one: spend MORE time before you hit record finding the right videos.

You’ll waste LESS time in post-production on stuff that doesn’t move the needle.

#2: Lack of Authority

Here’s the deal.

Most people giving “how to grow on YouTube” advice… haven’t actually done it outside of growing a channel giving YouTube advice.

What does this mean?

It means if you were to actually follow what they do (not what they say) the business model would be starting a YouTube channel… about starting a YouTube channel!

There’s more noise than ever when it comes to what actually works with growing your YouTube channel.

Bottom line: It’s more crucial than ever whichever “coach” you choose to follow has actually done it outside of the thing they teach!

#3: “Quality” Content Has NOTHING to Do with Quality Equipment

My most viral video to date was filmed when I was in my bedroom as a bachelor.

I filmed it on an old smartphone on an ugly wall.

My bed was on the other side of the room out of the shot.

That video now has over 3M views…

The equipment you have is good enough to dominate on YouTube.

In fact, most people over-complicate all the editing, video equipment, scripts, thumbnails, etc.

You don’t need to spend thousands of Naira or build some studio to crush it with YouTube.

When you find the right videos, learn from the right people who have done it outside of the thing they teach… growth becomes inevitable.
