APPLICATION FOR I-STARTUP SOUTHWEST PROGRAM.
Grant I-STARTUP SOUTHWEST
I-startup Southwest is a Federal Government intervention of the National Social Investment Program (NSIP) under the office the Vice President Of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is established to fast track industrialization in Nigeria by providing training and mentorship for a wide range of technology-related skills while empowering the Nigerian Youths for entrepreneurship and employments.
Premier Hub Innovation Center, the implementing and hosting partner of i-Startup Southwest program, is a regional innovation center located in Ondo state.
The aim of this program is to impact the Nigerian Economy to become a knowledgeable driven/smart economy, capable of rapidly accelerating industrialization by training and serving talent acceleration points for young Nigerians in technology driven sectors of the economy.
This program focused on idea and early stage startups with innovative solutions, in Manufacturing, Agriculture, ICT and Digital Oil field. The program is designed to help early stage START-UPS transform their ideas into to create viable solutions/products, gain traction and become successful commercial ventures.
The program curriculum included trainings (bootcamps in Lagos, Oyo and Ondo), Incubation, mentorship and equity free funding.
In I-STARTUP VERSION 2, the second edition of the programme, 10 startups will be selected for mentorship, advisory, incubation and a non-returnable seed investment(grant) of up to 2 million naira.
APPLICATION FOR I-STARTUP SOUTHWEST PROGRAM.
+ Any individual or early stage startup who has an idea, solution or product in Agriculture, Manufacturing, ICT, Digital Oil field, Governance or Health.
+ Business must be for profit.
+ Your state of residence or startup must be located in any of these states within the Southwest region: Ogun, Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Lagos and Ekiti.
The Programme provides critical tools for entrepreneurial success, including:
Training: weeks of intensive training on setting-up and managing businesses.
Mentorship and Advisory: Hands-on support: Business strategy, financial management, recruitment, product development (advisory)
Free work space for team members, high speed internet & more.
Seed Capital: non-returnable seed capital.
