We started this KULI-KULI Production business to contribution to reducing Nigeria’s shortfall in the supply of nutrients needed to feed the teeming population of Nigeria as a whole. we want to take advantage of the numerous opportunities in the agricultural sector, to help Nigeria’s economy improve by increasing domestic food production, to export agricultural products from Nigeria to other nations, reducing waste, and above all else, make profit.

Market Potential

There is an enormous demand for KULI-KULI because it can be consumed at any time of the day by both old and the young unfortunately, most of those in the market today are not well packaged and very unhygienic. Also, market exists in the ECOWAS sub-region for Kuli kuli. National annual demand for kuli kuli in Nigeria is estimated at 18,750 tons while the supply is less then 25% of the demand.

 

One of the products that can be produced from groundnuts is kulikuli. Kuli-kuli is traditionally Hausa snack that is primarily made from peanuts. But today, “Kulikuli” has become a popular snack in Nigeria and its consumption cut across ethnic groups in Nigeria. It is often eaten alone or with a mixture of garri, sugar and water popularly called “garri soakings”.

It is also eaten with “koko”, “fura”, “akamu”; and is sometimes ground and put into salad. It is often ground as and used as a major ingredient for “Suya” and “Kilishi” production.

“Kuli-kuli”, a groundnut product has a lot of benefits to human beings such as, protecting the heart, strengthening the bones and preventing birth defects e.t.c based on the nutritional composition of groundnut, it major ingredient of production.
